BIT International College in Bohol

Formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology, the BIT International College, found in Tagbilaran City in Bohol, is a private educational institution founded by an alumnus from the University of Bohol, Atty. Dionisio Balite and his spouse more than a decade ago in 1981. Being a private educational institution, BIT International College, formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology does not receive financial help from either the local or state government of the Philippines. BIT International College gets its funds from the students that enroll in its institution and not from public funds. The main campus of BIT International College, formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology is found in the capital city of Bohol, Tagbilaran City, but it also has campuses in Talibon, Jagna, Carmen and Siquijor.

The courses offered in BIT International College, formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology were Electronics, Auto Mechanics, Master Electrician, Driving, General Radio Communication Operator’s Course, Bookkeeping, Stenography, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Special Typing. Now, BIT International College, formerly Bohol Institute of Technology has expanded its course offerings to add Master in Public Administration, Doctor of Philosophy, MBA, master of Arts, Physical Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Bachelor of Laws, Physical Therapy, Midwifery and Engineering courses. BIT International College formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology now also offers elementary and high school education. However 452 enrollees turned up but the school handled it well resulting in commendations from the public.
