Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Technology (CVSCAFT) formerly went by the name Bohol School of Arts and Trade. CVSCAFT studies focus primarily on science and technology, industry and trade relations, education, engineering, and such related sectors.
In fact, Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Technology is a consolidation of different schools or colleges whose aim is to produce graduates in the fields of arts, trade, agriculture, industrial technology, and such related fields. The six schools that now constitute CVSCAFT includes (1) Bohol Agriculture College; (2) Bohol School of Fisheries(BSF); (3) Clarin School of Fisheries; (4) Calape National School of Fisheries; (5) School of Arts and Trade (; and (6) Calape Polytechnic College.
Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Technology offers dozens of courses related to the fields of engineering, trade, education, and more. The state college offers a wide list of bachelor, master, and PhD degree courses. Some of the bachelor degrees offered include courses in marine biology, fisheries, tourism, health care, office system management, and more.
Each college has its own set of offered courses. For instance, their College of Engineering offers courses in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and more. College of Education, on the other hand, offers teaching-related courses.
Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Technology also offers graduate courses such as master’s degree in Educational Management, Public Administration, Agricultural Development, and Industrial Technology. Graduate students have a wide range of fields to major including the fields of automotive technology, garments technology, and food technology. They also offer PhDs in Technology Management and Education Management.
Since Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Technology is a state college, tuition fee of students are subsidized by the Philippine government. This makes tuition fee at CVSCAFT quite affordable by the middle to low class income earners. Tuition fee per unit is just around Php 150, the registration fee is less than Php 100, and miscellaneous fee is around P1800.
Academic scholarships are also offered to students. The scholarship has a ladderized scale. Students, for instance, with general weighed average of 1 to 1.20 are 100% tuition fee exempted; students with a general weighed average of 1.21 to 1.30 are 50% tuition free exempted, and so on and so forth.

Bohol School of Fisheries is in Cogtong, Candijay. Clarin School of Fisheries is in Clarin, Bohol. Both Calape National School of Fisheries and Calape Polytechnic College are both in Calape, School of Arts and Trade is in Tagbilaran. The main campus of Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Technology, however, is located in Zamora, Bilar in Bohol.
